Welcome to Camrowers

A unique rowing club on the Cam
Camrowers is a non-competitive rowing club for older people, most of whom have never rowed before joining. The club caters for the over 50s - and mostly for people in their 60s, 70s, 80s, and even 90s. Members row for health and enjoyment and many have found that rowing helps them cope with illness or disability.

A New Boathouse
After years without a home, Camrowers has a brand new boathouse. Our new building opened in the spring of 2017 and is next to the Combined Colleges Boathouse on Logan's Way. At last, Camrowers is able to store all its boats under cover and can provide members with showers, changing rooms, toilets, rowing machines and a kitchenette for hot drinks.
